How do we book?

A.

Once we have spoken, I will send out the contracts. Please click here to see if I have your date free.

We live further afield and can not meet you until our wedding day?

A.

We can talk on the phone or SKYPE.

How far in advance do you take bookings?

A.

I generally take bookings two years in advance. I have a few dates left for 2016 and I am already 50% booked for 2017. I am now open for bookings for 2018.

What happens if your camera breaks?

A.

I have three cameras and a variety of lenses to make sure that I capture everything in every situation.

Do you take group photographs?

A.

Of course , very quickly and no waiting around. I can offer you advice and guidance for group photographs to make sure that you get the best, very quickly.

What are the copyrights to print?

A.

A.

I will always own the copyright to the photographs that I take. Just like when a painter paints a picture. That painter will always own the copyright to the painting. You must have the photographers permission if you wish to print your own photographs off and make your own displays. This is what the copyrights to print are. If you don’t have the copyrights to print then if you want any of your photographs you may have to get them printed through your photographer. I include the copyrights to print to all the photographs that you receive. I am also happy for you to share them on social media as long as you give me a little mention. What you can’t do is change the photographs yourself. Crop the photograph, change the colours just like if you had a painting you wouldn’t change the colours or crop that.

What will you be wearing?

A.

I will be wearing smart wedding attire to blend in with your guests. If you have a theme for your wedding I will try my best to adapt to this.

What if it rains?

A.

Don’t worry, I always have a plan B and my creative side will take over. It rains a lot in England, so I have had plenty of practise dealing with adverse weather. I love a little stormy sky in photographs.

Will you travel out of West Midlands & Staffordshire?

A.

These packages cover weddings in the West Midlands and Staffordshire. For weddings further afield I would just have to consider travel expenses. If your wedding is a considerable distance then overnight accommodation may be required. I will also consider weddings abroad and a personal quote will have to be provided.

How many photo’s will I receive?

A.

Each wedding is unique, however you usually recieve between 500-700 complete shots. You will also receive the copyright to print, so that you can get them printed off at any printers.

How long does it take to get my wedding photographs?

A.

It will take approximately 4 weeks to edit the photographs. If you are having the Loxley Studio photo album it will take a further 4 weeks for your album.

What happens now?

A.

I believe that it’s vital that you meet a variety of wedding photographers before you book. It is essential that you feel relaxed with me and also that I feel relaxed with you. This combination will equal fantastic photographs. There may be times that I may feel that your wedding photography may be suited to another photographer and I will only do a select number of weddings per month.

How much is the deposit?

A.

I require £300 deposit which will reserve your wedding date. The full balance of your wedding will need to be paid 2 weeks prior to your wedding. All packages include VAT.

I am not sure what package to book?

A.

There is no pressure to book your package at the time of booking your wedding. What is important is that you reserve your wedding date. I only do one wedding a day and a select amount in a month.I will call you approximately two weeks prior to your wedding day where we will discuss the finer details and you can choose your package.

Will you need to visit the venue?

A.

No, I work with light so the light will be different on your wedding day. If the venue is new to me then I will arrive early enough to have a look around.

Will you be taking photographs all day?

A.

During your meal we will take the time to freshen up, grab a drink and have our dinner. Soon as you are ready for your speeches we will get back to photographing memories.

How long do you stay at the wedding?

A.

If you are having a second shooter, generally they will leave when you are seated for your meal. I stay until just after the first dance. If you wish me to stay later then there will be a further charge which can be discussed at your consultation.

How many weddings do you do in a day?

A.

I will be dedicated to only you and your guests. I only photograph a select number of weddings per month so it’s vital to reserve your day.

I have seen a picture in a wedding magazine that I would like to recapture on my wedding day. Is this possible?

A.

Of course. Just make sure that we have the picture two weeks before so we can figure out lighting etc.

I don’t like having my photograph taken.

A.

Neither do I! However I will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I also have some top tips to help you look and feel great in your photographs.

How much time is needed for photographs?

A.

The majority of your wedding photographs will be natural as it happens. However most likely you will want some group photographs. I can give you guidance on your group photographs. If you are allowing time for formal photographs then please allow 5 minutes per formal photograph. For some amazing photographs of you both, I would like you to allow me time with you. I promise no cheesy shots. I will discuss timings with you, however ideally I would like to have 30 minutes prior to your wedding breakfast. A further 20 minutes at Sunset or before your evening guests arrive and 5 minutes before I leave so that you get a variety of portraits. This will be adapted to each wedding and discussed prior to your wedding day.

What if you’re ill?

A.

I would have to be on my death bed not to attend your wedding.

Who is your second shooter?

A.

I choose only the best experienced photographers to assist me on your wedding day. I will be able to tell you who they are before your wedding; however this may be subject to change. What will not change is me, I will be the one looking after you.

Are you insured?

A.

Of course, I am fully insured with public liability. If you require a copy for your venue then please do not hesitate to ask.

Do you need feeding at the wedding?

A.

For weddings in West Midlands and Staffordshire it’s just Faye that needs some lunch. Further afield it would be both. Thank you.

What courses have you done?

A.

I have completed a BTEC Diploma in Photography and passed with a distinction. I am a member of SWPP (Society of Weddings and Portrait Photographers.) I try to attend courses at least twice a year to ensure that I remain current and up to date with new equipment and techniques.
