Stanbrook Abbey Hotel – Malvern Hills – Worcester – Jennifer + Rob

STANBROOK ABBEY HOTEL

Stanbrook abbey hotel in the Malvern Hills was originally built as a contemplative house for Benedictine nuns and housed nuns until 2009. It was sold in 2010 and underwent major renovation and has become one worcester most beautiful wedding venues. The modern contemapary feel fits perfectly into the old traditional features that have been left behind from the nunnery. There is history featured in every part of the building and it is the perfect place for a wedding.

Bridal Preparations – Bridal Manor

The Bridal preparation area is the best I have ever seen at a wedding venue. I mean they have a whole wing away from wedding guests and inquisitive grooms !  Its called the Brides Manor and this is a Manor. This consists of around 6 bedrooms , a kitchen , a huge living room ,  a make up room , I could go on and on. It is utterly amazing.

Jennifer and her bridesmaids spent a relaxing morning in the bridal manor getting their hair and wedding make up done. When Jennifer put on her dress she looked utterly beautiful and she walked down the large staircase to greet her bridesmaids, mother and father. There was not a dry eye in the manor. I couldn’t take my eye’s off Jennifer’s wedding shoes. Customised disney wedding shoes. They were beauty and the beast shoes ! Wow Wow Wow.

Callow Great Hall – Marriage Ceremony

Everytime I have met Rob, he has always been a bit of a Joker (Like me).  He was joking most of the morning , infact right until he saw Jennifer walking down the aisle by her dad. I watched as he was hit by a wave of emotion. Jennifer literally took his breath away. It was a very emotional for me to photograph. Rob beamed with pride as they exchanged wedding rings and made their wedding vows.

Garden Pavillion – Wedding Reception

After the wedding ceremony the wedding guests went into the Garden Pavillion. The rest of the wedding day was pretty much about eating the most amazing canapés , drinking , laughing and playing cricket. After the wedding speeches a Ceilidh band started the wedding party . This really was a perfect wedding day. Thank you to Rob and Jennifer for letting me capture some truly special moments and best wishes for the future. Here are few photographs from their wedding day.
